Taiwan LGBT Pride 2024

Mark your calendar! Taiwan Pride, the biggest LGBT event in Asia will return in 2024. This annual festival is marked by tens of thousands of people parading through the city, plus numerous after-parties and special events.

Taipei Pride takes place in October, making it one of the latest Prides to take place each year.

The city is hosting regular "rainbow" bus tours in the run up to the event and there will be a weekend of light shows outside Taipei City Hall.

A special “rainbow road” has been painted on a stretch of pavement in front of Taipei City Hall to celebrate Pride in Taiwan.

This year's parade day is still to be announced. The procession usually starts outside Taipei City Hall Plaza in the afternoon. Participants can choose to take the “north” or “south” routes, which go through Zhongxiao East Road and Xinyi Road.

The event usually attracts over 80,000 people.
